At Puretap, we have always believed that being part of a community means more than just doing business in it. Over the years, we have been fortunate to work alongside some incredible organizations and individuals who make the Greater Toronto Area a better place. We do not share these stories to pat ourselves on the back — we share them because the people and programs we work with deserve to be recognized.
Supporting Youth Sports in Our Community
We are proud to work with local youth sports programs, including the Port Credit Hockey Association and community baseball leagues. These organizations do something truly special for young people in our area. In a time when screens dominate so much of daily life, these leagues give girls and boys a reason to lace up their skates, step up to the plate, get active, and be part of a team.
What we admire most about the league is its focus on more than just hockey. Yes, the kids learn skills and compete — but the real magic happens off the ice. The friendships that form in the dressing room, on the bus to away games, and during team events are the kind that last a lifetime. In an era where so many young people connect through devices, this league brings them together face to face, teaching them about teamwork, resilience, and showing up for one another.
Puretap is honoured to support Port Credit Hockey Association and the families who make it all possible. Watching these young athletes grow — not just as players, but as people — is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Creating Meaningful Work for Persons with Disabilities
One of the things we are most grateful for at Puretap is the opportunity to work alongside people of all abilities. We employ persons with disabilities in our operations, and honestly, they have taught us more than we could ever teach them.
Everyone deserves the chance to feel valued, to have purpose, and to contribute in a meaningful way. For some of our team members, this job is not just about earning a paycheque — it is about being part of something, having a place to go each day where they are needed and appreciated. We see the pride they take in their work, and it reminds the rest of us why we show up every morning too.
We do not believe in putting limitations on anyone. We have found that when you give people the opportunity and the support, they will surprise you every time. Our team is stronger, more compassionate, and more connected because of the people who bring different perspectives and abilities to our workplace every day.

Standing with Campfire Circle
Puretap is grateful to work with Campfire Circle, an Ontario charity that has been supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer and other serious illnesses since 1983.
Campfire Circle provides year-round camp programs — completely free of charge — that give kids a chance to just be kids again. For children going through treatment, a hospital stay can turn their world upside down. Campfire Circle meets them right there, bringing moments of fun and laughter to paediatric oncology centres across Ontario. Their in-hospital programs help children, siblings, and parents find a bit of light during some of the most difficult days a family can face.
Beyond the hospital, Campfire Circle runs community programs and overnight camps — including the only camp site in Canada equipped to provide IV chemotherapy and blood transfusions on-site. That means kids who might otherwise miss out on the camp experience can participate fully, make friends, and create memories that have nothing to do with their diagnosis.
What moves us about Campfire Circle is the way they help children feel like they belong. As one camper put it, camp was the first place where they did not feel so different anymore — just a kid having a great time, surrounded by others who understood. That sense of belonging, friendship, and normalcy is something every child deserves.
We are honoured to play even a small part in supporting this incredible organization and the families they serve.

It Takes a Village
None of what we do would be possible without the customers, partners, and neighbours who support us. Every bottle we fill, every delivery we make, and every handshake at a community event reminds us that Puretap is not just a water company — it is part of a larger family.
If your organization is doing good work in the community and you think we might be able to help, we would love to hear from you. Get in touch — we are always looking for new ways to give back.
