Deionized water

Deionized water made at our Mississauga plant, available by the case, the drum, the 1,000 L tote and the tanker load.

Deionization strips out the charged mineral ions, which is what matters when trace conductivity causes trouble: battery filling, final rinse water, cooling systems, humidification, and anything where a mineral deposit ends the job.

Deionized or distilled? Distillation boils the water and condenses the steam, so it removes dissolved minerals along with most organics and anything biological. Deionization uses ion exchange resin, so it removes ions very effectively and leaves non ionic material behind. For lab and process work where conductivity is the specification, deionized is usually what is written on the sheet. For equipment protection and general purity, distilled does the job and often costs less.

We make both, so we are not going to push you toward the one we happen to stock. Tell us what the water is going into and we will tell you which one you actually need.

Sizes run from 4 L jugs through 210 L drums to 1,000 L totes, with tanker fills for volume users. Pickup is free at 950 Verbena Road, Mississauga, Monday to Friday 8:00 to 15:30, and we deliver across the GTA on our own trucks. Tell us the volume and the frequency and we will quote it delivered.
