Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for wholesale bottles?

One full skid. That is 64 bottles for $640 or 80 bottles for $800, and a single skid is $10.00 a bottle either way. Two skids and three skids price better than that. Four or more, ask for a quote and we will match a price to your volume. Which skid you get depends on the truck that can reach you. A 4 layer skid holds 64 and clears the door of a straight truck, so it is what we send when there is no dock. A 5 layer skid holds 80 and needs tractor trailer height. Same bottle, same price per unit.

How does payment work?

Wholesale is prepaid. Payment is required before we ship, on every order and every account. We do not offer credit terms and we do not invoice. Because there is nothing to chase, your price is not carrying anybody else’s unpaid account. Custom and private label runs are 30% to start, balance before it ships. Once your logo is on the bottle nobody else can use it, so the deposit covers the run.

Do these bottles carry a deposit?

No. Wholesale empty bottles are sold outright. They are blank and unlabelled, and they are not redeemable for a bottle deposit refund, now or later, whether or not a label is applied afterwards. Our $10 refundable deposit applies only to Puretap labelled bottles supplied filled through our water service. Those come back on our own delivery route and the deposit is refunded when the bottle is returned in good condition.

Are the bottles new or reconditioned?

New. Every 18.9 L bottle is brand new, food-grade, and never previously filled.

Can I get them blank for private label?

Yes, the bottles ship blank with no branding. We also supply caps and printed labels, and offer co-packing if you’d like us to fill and label for you.

Do you supply caps and labels too?

Yes. Puretap supplies 18.9 L bottles, non-spill caps, and labels to water companies and bottlers throughout Ontario.

Do you ship outside the GTA?

Pickup and GTA delivery are standard. We also quote shipments outside the GTA, including out-of-province orders.

Yes. We bottle distilled, spring, deionized, and demineralized water in Mississauga, so you can buy bottles empty or filled.
