3 Gallon Glass Water Bottle (11.35 L), Italian Made, Refillable

Description

Get off plastic without changing how you get your water

This is a 3 gallon glass water bottle, made in Italy from clear food-safe flint glass. Puretap imports it directly from Vetri Speciali in Ormelle, in the Veneto, a region that has made container glass for centuries. Glass is inert, so the water tastes the way it did when it left our plant. Nothing leaches in and nothing lingers from the last fill.

At 11.35 L it holds a little over half of a standard 18 L bottle. Empty, it weighs about 4 kg. That is the point of the 3 gallon: it is the size one person can lift and turn over onto a dispenser without help.

In stock at 950 Verbena Road, Mississauga. Order online for pickup or delivery, or drop in during showroom hours.

Fits standard coolers and dispensers

The neck is a 55 mm fascetta finish, the same outside size as a standard water cooler bottle, and it takes standard 55 mm caps. It sits on the same coolers, crocks and countertop dispensers that hold our 11 L and 18 L bottles.

Refill it at Puretap

Bring the empty bottle to our showroom at 950 Verbena Road, Mississauga, and we fill it with Morning Mist distilled water while you wait: $3 for the 3 gallon, $5 for the 5 gallon. See the glass carboy refill listing.

No deposit, because you own it

With our plastic 18 L bottles you pay a deposit and swap bottles each delivery. The glass bottle works differently. You buy it once, it is yours, and there is no deposit to pay or track. It is dishwasher safe and sanitizer safe, and it will last as long as you do not drop it.
