The Aquatec 550 Series Pumps serve a dual purpose: they are capable of drawing water from a holding tank and pressurizing it, as well as enhancing the pressure from a low-pressure source. While they are primarily designed for intermittent operation, many variations within the 550 Series have the capacity to run continuously for extended periods, sometimes spanning several hours. These pumps offer flexibility, as they can be operated either in demand mode, where a pressure switch controls their operation, or in delivery mode, which is governed by an external power switching device. Additionally, an integral bypass feature is available to limit pressure when necessary.
